Eligibility

Applicants can be an organisation of any size and either work alone with others from business, research organisations, research and technology organisations or subcontractors.

Contracts will be awarded only to a single legal entity. However, you can employ specialist consultants, advisers or partnering organisations as subcontractors.

The Net Zero Technology Centre are looking for proposals that involve all the necessary stakeholders relevant to the proposed innovation, including end users of the solution.

You can use a previously submitted application to apply for this competition. The Net Zero Technology Centre will not award you funding if you have: failed to complete a previously funded project or failed to comply with grant terms and conditions.

There are no restrictions on the number of applications an eligible organisation can lead or partner on. Should you be successful, The Net Zero Technology Centre will ask you to confirm you have the capacity to run multiple projects simultaneously.

Businesses from across the globe can apply for a share of £7 million available in the first funding window, with a maximum of £1 million to be awarded to each successful project.
