To apply for Grant Funding, you must follow the application process of the funding body. This can often include multiple stages; expression of interest, multi-stage applications, and interview, before being awarded funding for your project. Depending on the competition criteria, you can apply as a single applicant or as part of a consortium. All competitions will have a scoring system and the highest scoring applications will be successful – successful scores are usually above 80%.
If you’re successfully awarded funding, you will usually receive up to 70% funding for your project depending on your stage of research, and your business will need to be able to match fund the remaining percentage.
