The new CETPartnership joint call will open for applications from September 2024. It’s a EUR100m programme with EUR5m available from Scottish Enterprise for transnational research, technological development and innovation funding programme which is designed to boost and accelerate energy transition across 30 countries.
The CETP programme is a transformative Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) program, designed to accelerate clean energy transition through annual funding calls.
It’s an international collaboration involving 30 countries and more than 50 funding agencies, supported through the Horizon Europe R&I programme.
Our organisation is leading and delivering the programme on behalf of Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise.
The CETPartnership Joint Call 2024 is the co-funded call under the CETPartnership. To cover different topics and RDI types, the Call is structured into Call Modules, aimed at different energy technologies and/or systems as well as both research and innovation oriented approaches on different Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), complementing and completing each other.
The CETPartnership Joint Call 2024 has two parts:
International Part: The international call is performed in 2-stages: submission of a pre-proposal followed by an invite to submit a full proposal.
National/Regional Part: All project partners will be evaluated according to national/regional eligibility criteria and requirements. Several Funding Agencies require submission of a proposal on national/regional level.
CETPartnership is supporting research and innovation in all the CETP modules:
They will consider applications under all modules. However, as part of our eligibility process, projects will be expected to demonstrate relevance to the Scottish Government’s energy strategies and should contribute to economic development in Scotland.
The Call includes the following eligibility criteria and requirements:
All Project Consortium Partners are encouraged to carefully check all eligibility criteria and requirements. Different Call Modules and different Funding Agencies may support different types if entites, TRLs, etc.
