Innovate UK will work with The Department for Transport (DfT) to invest up to £34 million in innovation projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from shipping. These will be to develop and deploy real world operational demonstrations of clean maritime solutions as well as carry out innovative feasibility studies and pre-deployment trials.
The competition is split into three strands:

This competition seeks to address three primary issues, taking into account the systemic complexity and recognising some of the key influences on care delivery. The requirement is to find innovative solutions that will tackle challenges associated with:
1. Early identification and diagnosis
2. Health inequalities and access to care
3. Access to effective support and services

Award: £500,000 per project

This competition seeks to address 3 key challenges and aims to identify innovative solutions which can be adopted by the NHS, taking into account the systemic complexity and recognising some of the important influences on care delivery in these areas:
1. Perinatal Mental Health
2. Support to Women post-discharge
3. Risk Identification, Stratification and Intervention

Award: £500,000 per project

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £20 million late-stage R&D projects that help accelerate the UK towards a net zero automotive future.
Programme: Advanced Propulsion Centre
Award: Share of up to £20 million
Applications open: 3rd July 2023
Deadline: 20th September 2023
UK registered SMEs can apply for a share of up to £5 million to develop innovative farming solutions. This must align with private investment with selected investor partners.
Programme: Innovate UK
Award: Share of up to £5 million
Applications open: 24th July 2023
Deadline: 30th August 2023
UK registered businesses can apply for grant funding alongside private investment from selected investor partners, with pre-approval required. Funding supports innovative projects in net zero, health and wellbeing, and next-generation digital technologies.

Award: Share of up to £80 million over 3 years
