Samuel Woodward

I graduated university with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and spent the last 4 years working in the automation and manufacturing industries. I started out as a mechanical design engineer and transferred into sales to try something new and explore my skills. I quickly found out that I was very comfortable being with customers and having technical discussions. My favourite part of being in sales is customer interaction, where keeping promises and prioritising your customer’s needs are essential in building trust and developing a good working relationship.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing rugby at my local rugby club. It’s a great opportunity to be fit and healthy – injuries aside! I also like having a creative outlet and enjoy trying to write compelling stories for the Dungeons & Dragons campaigns I run for friends. I recently bought myself a cheap 3D printer, which I use to keep my CAD skills up-to-date and solve small problems around the house.
