I have always been fascinated by technology and the innovations that improve the world we’re in. This probably stems from time spent building and studying things as a child with my Grandad, who was a Physics teacher. I later combined this interest with my love of sport, specialising in Sports Engineering at University and going on to research for a PhD about tennis racquets.
I have carved myself a career path in exciting niche roles since leaving academia. I spent two years innovating equipment solutions for the GB Speed Skating team before joining Pentland Brands as a Product Development Engineer, primarily creating new swimming goggles for Speedo.
I enjoy working at TBAT as I get to speak to smart and talented people to learn about the exciting work they have been doing to push the boundaries in their industry.
When not in the office, my time is largely taken up running around after my daughter but when I get chance, I enjoy hiking, cycling, cooking, building Lego and watching sport on tv.
