Overview
Projects worth €150.3 million will be funded under the Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking 2019 Call for Proposals for Research & Innovation activities.
A total of 18 topics are currently open, with 12 of those open to non-JU Members – meaning that they are available to UK organisations.
Each topic has a scope and eligibility criteria detailed in the 2019 Annual Work Plan – available here.
The Shift2Rail JU operates under Horizon 2020 rules observing the principles of openness, transparency and excellence. Participation is open to all, and the best proposals — evaluated by independent experts — will win.
Submissions for this application period will be accepted until 18th June 2019.
Research and Innovation action
Applications put into any Research and Innovation action call will have up to 100% of all eligible project costs covered.
Innovation action
Applications put into any Innovation action call will have up to 70% of all eligible project costs covered, but may increase to 100% for non-profit organisations.
