Innovate UK are investing a minimum of £2.5 million from the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology and UKRI as part of the £52 million Robotics Adoption Programme.
The competition is created and deliver course content materials that support skills, talent and training in robotics. It included drones operating on land, sea and air; autonomous plant and service robots; automated machinery that use sensors, actuators and software or automated machinery.

Projects that are not related to robotic skills and training, not focused on robotics CR&D, purely software with no hardware element will not be funded.
Up to £2.5 million of grant funding has been allocated to fund innovation projects in this competition. Funding will be issued in the form of a grant. If your organisations work on the project is commercial or economic, funding requests must not exceed the limits below.

Organisations undertaking non-economic activity as part of the project can share up to 70% of the total eligible project costs. Consortiums containing more than one research organisation can share a maximum of 70%. Of that 70%, you can get funding for your eligible project costs of up to:
