The One-Page Pitch offers the opportunity to submit a brief outline of your innovation to us at DASA for a rapid assessment and response, without releasing any Intellectual Property.

The One-Page Pitch offers the opportunity to submit a brief outline of your innovation to us at DASA for a rapid assessment and response, without releasing any Intellectual Property.

One of the benefits is that it enables you to run your idea past us before you invest time, effort and cost in formulating and submitting a full proposal. You can then be recommend whether to proceed with your proposal or, if your idea is not of interest, you will be signposted to other organisations that may be interested.

Who will benefit from our idea and how?

This call would like an outline of how your idea might be of benefit to defence and/or security. It’s appreciated that you may not be familiar with the defence and security user communities, so do not worry about being specific. Give:

  • an indication of what problem or challenge you are trying to solve
  • how your idea might be used
  • what the benefits might be

What makes our idea different?

What the call is looking for here is how your idea differs to what is being done already, or perhaps what is in the pipeline.

  • Why is your idea better?
  • What benefits do the differences between your idea and others offer?

Outline broadly what your project will deliver, such as whether it would be a report, a proof of concept demonstration or a final product/service. It might be useful for you to reference the

When we will deliver it?

You will need to provide an indication of how long you think you would need to complete your proposed work,  along with some indication of the funding you might require. All of this is without commitment, and of course the detail would follow in your proposal. However, this information will help with internal resource planning.
