On Sunday 22nd September, six members of our TBAT Innovation team completed the Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Leicester’s Charity Link.
This 16-mile event, held annually, takes participants through the beautiful scenic Charnwood countryside. The route tackled Leicestershire’s three notable peaks: Bardon Hill, Old John in Bradgate Park, and Beacon Hill. The TBAT team, a mix of runners and walkers, joined over 100 other participants to take on the course, which had slight changes this year due to wet weather. By participating, TBAT has raised awareness and significant donations to help the charity’s mission.
This impactful event not only challenges participants physically but also underscores the community’s dedication to supporting local families in crisis through Charity Link’s valuable work.

Charity Link provides essential support for individuals and families facing severe financial hardship across Leicestershire, Rutland, and Northamptonshire, ensuring they have access to necessities like food, clothing, and a safe living environment. By providing critical items such as beds, clothing (including school uniforms), white goods, and emergency aid for food and utilities, Charity Link helps improve quality of life, dignity, and well-being.
Working alongside 250 charities and community groups, the organisation aims to deliver assistance efficiently to those in urgent need. Through an innovative funding approach, they unlock extra resources from charitable trusts, effectively amplifying the impact of every donation.
