I began my academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management at The University of Nottingham. However, my hunger for knowledge led me to delve into the world of Politics and the relationship between business, government, and public policy. I therefore decided to embark on a Master’s degree in International Relations. This unique blend of business acumen, government insights, and public policy expertise opened a door to a career that I am truly passionate about.
After graduation, my professional journey commenced in the realm of Research and Development (R&D) Tax, an arena where I discovered my true calling. I find immense gratification in the combination of technical expertise with the meticulous application of legislation for the benefit of UK businesses. This dynamic intersection has been a driving force in my career.
When I’m not immersed in the world of R&D legislation, you can find me exploring the culinary wonders of the world. I’m a dedicated foodie who relishes the joy of discovering new flavours and going out for meals with friends and family. I also like to consider myself an experienced wine connoisseur. Whether it’s a bold Cabernet Sauvignon, a delicate Pinot Noir, or a crisp Chardonnay, I relish the opportunity to explore the diverse spectrum of flavours and aromas that the world of wine has to offer. However, the most cherished moments are the ones spent with my beloved K-9 companion, Pippa. She’s not just a pet; she’s family—a miniature Dachshund/Yorkie cross who’s equally adorable and spoiled. Together, we relish the simple pleasures of life, from leisurely walks in the park to cosy evenings at home.
