UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £1 million as part of a pilot. This is to support high potential businesses developing a technology, product or service in measurement, instrumentation or sensing for UK manufacturing.

Innovate UK are investing up to £1 million from the UKRI Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chains programme.
The aim of this pilot is to recruit and support ambitious and innovative SME’s with the potential to grow and scale a business in the UK.
Businesses must be developing a technology, product or service based on measurement, sensing or instrumentation to addresses a specific problem faced by advanced manufacturing supply chains.
Supply chains must be part of at least one of the following UK advanced manufacturing supply chains:
To be eligible for this competition, your project must have a grant funding request of £80,420, £75,000 grant funding over the duration of the pilot and £5,420 towards Business Connect support. Your grant funding request must match your total cost with a request for support for 9 months. Funding activities must start by 1st March 2027 and end no later than 30th November 2027.
Lead organisation: To be eligible to join this pilot your business must be a UK registered micro, small or medium sized enterprise.
Subcontractors: Subcontractors are allowed in this pilot and can be from anywhere in the UK. Overseas subcontractors can be used, but you must state why UK subcontractors could not be used in your application.
Number of applications: An eligible business can only submit one application.
Previous applications: Previously submitted applications can not be used in this competition.

Innovate UK have allocated up to £1 million to fund companies in this pilot. Funding will be in the form of a grant and non-grant support from Innovate UK and other organisations.
Your total costs will be eligible for up to 100% funding subject to MFA subsidy rules. You must apply for 100% funding.
Total costs within your application must not exceed the maximum amount of £80,420. If your total costs do exceed the maximum, then your application will be made ineligible.
