Swiss and UK participants are invited to submit proposals for joint research and development projects with strong commercial potential in both the UK and Switzerland.
The aim of this competition is to strengthen cross-border innovation and collaboration in the following priority areas:

To be eligible for this grant, projects must have at least one business entity from the UK or Switzerland with at least one research institute being from either country. Additional research organisations or commercial companies from either country may participate.
No single country may contribute more than 70% or less than 30% of the total person-months dedicated to the project.
Projects must last between 18 and 36 months.
Funding of up to £3 million is available with grant sizes up to £450k. The grant funding can cover up to 70% of UK organisations’ project costs, depending on project type and business size.
